Congratulations to the SGY Class of 2010!6/14/2010
Proud family and friends joined the 56 graduates of the SGY Class of 2010 at their Commencement Ceremony at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity on Thursday, June 3rd. Certificates were handed out by SGY Head Mr. Jon Beard and SGY Deputy Head Mrs. Nicole Chichon De Silva. It was the first SGY Graduation for Headmaster Mr. E. G. ‘Ted’ Staunton. Senior Vice President (Bermuda & International Product Line Manager, Healthcare) for Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd., 1993 Saltus graduate, and mother of Jonah in the Foundation year -- Mrs. Kirsten (Butterworth) Faria -- was the guest speaker. She gave sound advice to the graduates – who are the generation of the Internet -- and presented each with a copy of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
