The Butterfield Library Research Centre’s mission is to foster a lifelong commitment with the exciting world of ideas and information. Library goals include:

• inspiring in students a love of discovery
• furthering information literacy
• encouraging reading for both learning and enjoyment
• providing access to quality information resources to support our curriculum for the entire school community

The Saltus libraries support the school's academic curriculum by fostering each student's independent inquiry, critical thinking, and research skills.

The library welcomes students, faculty and the Saltus community at large. Parent members of Friends of the Library volunteer in the libraries. Gifts may be donated in honor of students, family and special friends.

Library Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Senior Library)

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 2:00 pm (Junior Library)
