Development at Saltus - Past, Present and Future

Development History

Generous donation to Saltus by the school’s many friends and supporters has assisted with numerous important projects. They include:

• the redesign of the Senior Department library to create a sophisticated and technologically rich facility

• the creation of an expanded Senior Department computer centre with new equipment and interactive smartboards for teaching

• the renovation of classroom, office and hall space at Cavendish school

• the refurbishing of the Senior Department auditorium and the installation of new stage lighting equipment

• the renovation of public spaces in the Senior Department and the painting of the entire Senior Department building

• the exchanging of music department facilities at historic ‘Woodlands’ with the central administrative office and the subsequent relocation of the senior music department to the Gosling Centre

• the creation of additional classrooms in the Upper Primary Department

• the creation of a sophisticated Computer facility in the Upper Primary Department

• the opening of the Francis (Goose) Gosling Centre which houses the SGY programme, the Centre for Learning, the S7 year classrooms, the David & Mary Barber Auditorium for Performing Arts, the Music Department and the Information Technology Department.
