How to Make a Gift
There are many ways to make a gift to Saltus Grammar School. Saltus is ready to work with donors to ensure that the donor is comfortable with the way the gift will benefit the school.
What You Can Give
Cash – A cash gift is the most popular type of charitable gift. Make a Gift Online

Marketable and Non-Marketable Securities – When you give a gift of securities to Saltus Grammar School, they will be sold at market value and the funds used to benefit the school according to the donor’s wishes.
Tangible Personal Property – Gifts of personal property such as paintings, library books, cars, or musical instruments will be welcomed by the school. They will be used by the school or sold at market value and the proceeds used according to the donor’s wishes.
Real Estate – There are three common methods of transfer: outright deeding of the property to Saltus Grammar School; a gift of the property with retained life income through a gift annuity or charitable remainder trust; or a gift of a personal residence with retained life tenancy.
Life Insurance – If a donor names Saltus the owner and beneficiary, the cash surrender value of the policy when received will be used as directed by the donor.
How You Can Give:
Outright Gift - An outright gift is a gift made immediately by you to Saltus Grammar School.
Pledge – A donor may pledge to give Saltus Grammar School a cash gift which will be paid in instalments over a period of time.
Bequests – Bequests to Saltus Grammar School are transferred from the donor’s estate after his/her death and represent a major source of support for general endowment as well as specific programs that will benefit future generations of students.
