Afterschool Programmes & Camps

Middle School

Saltus offers several after school options for Middle School students to ensure the safety and well-being of our students whilst on our campus, including athletic and extracuricular activities, an Afterschool Programme and Homework Haven. If students are staying on campus after school, they should be in one of these designated after school areas by 4:00pm.

In 2018-19 Saltus introduced a “new & improved” afterschool programme for middle school students (Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9). Formerly known as ‘Community Centre’ this programme will be spearheaded by our Director of After School, Ms. Jenn Pettit and offer facilities and activities designed for our middle school students.

Mr. Andre Bean, the after school supervisor, will provide weekly sporting, arts, and games competitions to keep the students’ engaged throughout the school year. A monthly schedule will be posted and emailed to registered students and parents with the events and activities.

The after school programme will run from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. The programme fee will be $250 a term and will work like a club membership. Your child can attend any day/days needed during the term.
If you have any questions feel free to email Jennifer Pettit at

Homework Haven

Due to COVID-19 we will not be able to offer Homework Haven until further notice.

Homework Haven
will continue to be offered daily as a free service provided by teachers from 3:30pm – 5:00pm for homework help. Homework Haven will be held in the library and is a quiet space to complete work or read. Students leaving Homework Haven should be leaving campus or picked up by 5:00pm.
