Board of Trustees

Saltus Grammar School is governed by a Board of Trustees. In the CAIS Governance Guide, the Board of Trustees has five principal duties:

Fiduciary Duty: to act honestly and in good faith in the best interest if the School.
Duty of Care: to exercise the same care as a reasonably prident person in comparable circumstances.
Duty of Loyalty: to act without conflict of interest.
Duty of Confidentiality: to maintain absolute confidentialiy regarding Board discussions.
Duty of Solidarity: once a vote is takeen and a decision is made to speak as a Board with one voice.
