Prepared to Meet the World: Saltus Students Excel in 2026 Advanced Placement Exams

Saltus is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our 2026 graduates in their Advanced Placement (AP) examination results. Offering AP courses since 1975, Saltus continues to uphold a tradition of academic excellence through this internationally recognized program, which provides students with the opportunity to get a head start on their future, earning college credit and demonstrating subject mastery before entering post-secondary education. 

This year, 60 Saltus SGY1 and SGY2 students took 141 AP exams, with 93% achieving a score of 3 or higher — the benchmark widely accepted by North American universities as demonstrating college-level proficiency.

“We are delighted by the continued success of our AP Program that offers students an extraordinary breadth and depth of choice, with courses offered across a wide range of disciplines,” said Julie Rousseau, Head of School. “The program allows students to engage in rigorous academic challenges while also pursuing areas of personal interest, ensuring they are well prepared for success at the world’s top universities. We are immensely proud of what our students have accomplished, and of the teaching by our faculty who have paved the way for our students' bright futures ahead.”

We are pleased to share that the following students were recognized by the College Board for outstanding results and have been accepted to top-ranking North American and UK universities:

Seven (7) students earned the designation of AP Scholar. This is awarded to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Congratulations to: Jamie Ashton (University of Vermont), James Ganal (current SGY2), Zachary McGuire (Sacred Heart University), Khyii Perinchief (Royal Holloway, University of London), Evie Phelan (Hartpury University), Jordan Talbot (University of Guelph), and Isis Tucker (Wilfrid Laurier University).

Three (3) students were awarded the AP Scholar with Honor designation. This is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on 4 or more AP exams. Congratulations to: Tse Burgess (Spelman College), Reese Morbey (The Pennsylvania State University), and Zoe Oduntan (current SGY2 student).

Fourteen (14) Saltus students earned the designation of AP Scholar with Distinction, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Congratulations to: Magda Baron (University of Nottingham), Chloe Burns (Gap year), Stephen Chu (University of Waterloo), Braxton Cooze (McGill University), Matthew Copeland (McGill University), Asha Dunleavy (University of Bristol), Aiden Hidalgo (University of Exeter), Evie Hook (University of Leeds), Dylan Jeffrey (Western University), Camilo Legere (North Carolina State University), Gabriel Mackertich (University of Exeter), Emma Oury (McGill University), Anna Stephenson (University of Exeter), and Marley Tear (McGill University). 

These accomplishments reflect the dedication and hard work of both the students and the educators at Saltus in preparing students for success in their Advanced Placement exams. Congratulations to all students on their achievements.
