New Saltus Tradition for Grads

On Friday, 31 May 2019 members of the 2019 Saltus Graduating Class who started at Saltus in Year 1 attended a "lifers" lunch with their original Primary School teachers at Saltus Cavendish. "We are very excited this year to have the highest number of lifers that we have seen in many years" says Drictor of Enrolement Mangement, Amanda Skinner.  "Thirty-nine students joined this special group of (soon-to-be) Saltus Alum on Friday." These students have developed relationships with each other and with classmates who have come and gone over more than a decade. At the lunch they had a chance to visit old classrooms and talk with their original primary teachers. Mrs. Furr, former Head of Primary was also in attendance.

Deputy Head, Jon Beard welcomed students as the newest members of the Alumni community. The students were transported to the Cavendish site on the school mini-bus and were joined by their former teachers for a special lunch and celebration. They then wandered the halls to see where it all started! Each student was presented with a special name badge that used an image they had personally drawn for the Year 1 tea towel 13 years ago. This is the start of a great new tradition at Saltus.
