The Over 13 girls’ team was made up of a VERY young team and had three Year 8’s and two Year 7’s running up an age group.  All girls did extremely well, helping their team to FIRST place overall.  Rachel Hyland (Y9) was our highest finisher in 6th place, closely followed by Year 8 student Grace Rothwell who was 7th.  Beattie Ball (Y7) and Gwen Davidson (Y8) were 11th and 12th respectively and Charlotte Hooks (Y8) was 16th.  Rounding out the group were Kennedy Steeves (Y7) and Gretchen Super (Y9) who finished in 21st and 23rd respectively.  53 runners started the race.
The last race of the day saw the Over 13 boys place 3rd overall on team points.  Our highest finisher was Bakari Furbert (Y9), followed by Jamie Bedford (Y9), Brady Sullivan (Y9) and Ben Copeland (Y9) who finished 12th, 13th and 19th respectively.  Year 7 student, Tucker Curtis moved up into the over 13 boy’s division and placed a very respectable 23rd, followed by Year 9’s Lucas Castree and Sachiel Ming in 24th and 25th.  Unfortunately, Nathan Decosta (Y9) was unable to finish the race.  47 runners started the race.
We would like to thank all of those who represented the school.
