A history lesson & performance from H&H Gombey Troupe

On Friday, 24th February the H&H Gombey Troupe provided a wonderful performance and presentation to the Upper Primary Department. The troupe provided students with a history lesson about the Gombeys and their significance to Bermuda’s culture. The detail and importance of each piece of the Gombey suit was an important reminder of their historical beginnings and connection to the history of slavery. Thank you to the H&H Gombey Troupe!
