Lower Primary

Our youngest learners master core competencies in a flexible, enriching environment on our Cavendish campus. A rich learning environment inside and outside of the classroom nurtures each student’s sense of wonder and curiosity and helps foster a love of learning. Our Reggio-inspired curricular approach puts the student at the centre of their own learning and allows us to tap into their natural curiosity to develop projects of inquiry at a very early age. 

Inspired by the students, our educators develop the building blocks of knowledge and skills that will deepen their understanding of the world around them and ensure their success as they progress through their Saltus journey. Our holistic approach focuses on social-emotional learning, foundational numeracy and literacy skills, and lessons in a variety of subjects including Music, Art, Spanish, and Physical Education.
