Jonathan Reiss '87

Jonathan Reiss joined Strategic Risk Solutions in 2020 as a Managing Director and Board member. Previously he was part of the founding management team at Hamilton Insurance Group where he served as President, Strategic Partnerships as well as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Before Hamilton, Jonathan was the Leader of EY’s Insurance practice in Bermuda. He had been with EY, in Bermuda and New York, for 19 years and had been a Partner for 12 years.

Jonathan earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1995 and earned a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1998. He also practiced for many years as a Chartered Accountant and is a past member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda. Jonathan is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Jonathan rejoined the Saltus Board of Trustees in September 2020 having previously served on the Saltus Board and as Chair of the Finance Committee from 2012-2017.

Jonathan is a member, since 2010, of the Board of Trustees of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS).
